Lemon & Garlic Shrimp Pasta
Lemon garlic shrimp pasta is a staple meal in our family because it is quick to make and the kids love it! I pair the lemon garlic shrimp with either pasta or rice, and a vegetable. (You may have guessed already what my side vegetable is! Yes, salad.) As you can see in the picture, my lemon juice and zest looks like a block. Well, that is because it was frozen. I spent about 10 minutes one day juicing lemons and zesting them. I then placed the juice and zest it in an ice cube tray. Once it was frozen solid, I put them in zip lock bags to use for later.
